Description of registry

The National Quality Register for Catheter Ablation stores data from catheter treatments (ablations) for tachycardia in Sweden, produces statistics, publicizes an annual summary of this data, and reports quality-oriented information back to individual centres. Data from the registry is also used for scientific purposes.

Population

All patients undergoing catheter ablation for arrhythmia in Sweden.

Volume over the past operating year

Approximately 4 800 procedures in 2014.
