Description of registry

Covers surgically treated ligament injuries to the knee joint, primarily injuries to the cruciate ligament. Injuries that are not treated with surgical intervention are also registered.

Population

All persons with cruciate ligament injuries.

Ages in the registry

All ages, but the majority of those registered are aged 15-40.

Total volume of registry

About 45 000 operations since 2005.

About 3 500 operations.
